Spectacular Impresses Audience in St.Louis

ST.LOUIS, MO—The audience at the Touhill Performing Arts Center called the Spectacular wonderful and very informative. This is the second show in St.Louis performed by Divine Performing Arts as part of the 2008 worldwide tour.

"Wonderful, very beautiful, I am glad I came to see the show," said Sheryl, a homemaker. She especially liked the 'Mongolian Bowl Dance', "The dance amazed me, the way they carried the bowls on their heads was just wonderful."

"I loved the show, it was very beautiful, its the first I have experienced anything like that, the dancing, the costumes, the color, everything was beautiful," said Annette Najjar, professor at Lindenwood University.

She was impressed by the way fabric was used to create impressions. "I liked the drums, and all the pieces, especially where fabric is used to create impressions like the long sleeves and flowing water."

Uma Shankar Sampat, a chemist also liked the water fairies dance,['Nymphs of the Sea'] "I liked the way they created the illusion of water," he said.

Rose Davis, professor was very impressed and called the show very informative. "I don't know much of the stories associated with the Chinese history, so this was very informative." She enjoyed the beautiful dances with the fans, the Tibetan dance and the Water Fairies dance.

Becky, a dietician said that there was lot of talent and diversity in the show. "It was interesting, lot of talent and diversity—I especially liked the piece where the woman played the erhu,"

"This show was great, different. I have never seen anything like this before," said Ms. Brown, a retired nurse.
