BUCHAREST, Romania—"It was a great show, beyond expectations," said Ruxandra Chiric after seeing the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular at Bucharest's National Theatre on Tuesday evening.
"I really wanted to see it. I invited many, many friends and truly, I was not disappointed. I was very impressed. Everything exceeded my expectations. "
Chiric, a lawyer by profession, gave high praise to the quality of the show in the international spectrum.
"I've seen many shows in the world, [including] in New York and in London, but this one really impressed me in a special way."
"And this is after the show given by the Balashov Theatre recently in Bucharest; they had a show with opera from Kiev, but still [the Spectacular ] managed to really impress me. It was wonderful."
"I personally was amazed, because it was much more than I expected," said Sulana Pusca, who was also at the Spectacular.
"It was something really incredible…. I'm really glad to see this pure form of [culture]."
Pusca said she especially enjoyed "Fruits of Goodness" and "Power of Awareness."
"They show the impact of these great values which are universal values on the level of all people. I liked a lot the victory of these values in the heart and in the mind of people in comparison to just a few people dressed in black (in one of the acts) who are not open to those values." Nick Opre, who attended Tuesday's show with Pusca, said the Spectacular was "very nice. It was very important — it had a very good impact."
"It's a great show," said Pusca. "It's just impossible for someone to not appreciate…the spiritual values and the meaning of the show and the divine meaning of the show. It is the most important. I am grateful."
They both said they would like to see the Spectacular again next year, and Pusca added that the performers were "really, really great, and it was an honor for us to be a part of this show."
