HAMBURG—Helene Schepard's husband bought her a ticket to the Chinese Spectacular . She said he really wanted to go the show but fell ill, so she went with her friend.

The 70-year-old said she really enjoyed the "Victory Drums" performance.

"I found the performances with the drums to be really great. The way they were jumping was fascinating. Although, the performers were exhausted from the movements, they were are still laughing," she said.

She thought Falun Gong performance; "Risen Lotus" was of very high quality.

"During the other pieces like with the drums and other ones, they laughed but in this piece they were unusually solemn at this moment. They had to show another emotion: pain."

She said it could be very difficult for most of the people to follow Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.

"Most of the people concentrate only on themselves and are not prepared to give up certain things in order to embrace other persons or to really communicate with them and make compromises."

She said she found the show "very fascinating, because something like this we often do not see."

"The west has a completely different way of expression," she said.
