BERLIN—Currently playing a three-day run at Berlin's International Congress Centre, the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular continues to delight audiences with its portrayal of classical Chinese music and dance, drawn from the Middle Kingdom's 5,000-year history.

Cora Heilmann, who was a professional ballet dancer for many years, had nothing but praise for the Spectacular, which she attended on March 15. The following are her comments about the show.

Epoch Times: What is your impression of the Spectacular?

Heilmann: I have been out of my profession for several years now, but since it will not be lost, also the memory is not lost. I of course can comprehend many movements inwardly in my body and I can follow it in my head. Above all, I can follow it emotionally.

But what fascinates me is the variety and that Chinese classical dance is really multifaceted and offers more possibilities for different forms of expression.

That folklore does not look like folklore, but this is a connection of classic and folklore. It is in harmony, there is no clashing with the styles anywhere in between, it is truly one single flow. And that is really very fascinating.

Epoch Times: What do you think about the music, the colors and the entire composition?

Heilmann: Costumes, stage picture and music – well I was trying from the very beginning to find adjectives: stylish, perfect, emotional, effective, brilliant...

Everything's "full," the entire show is full of harmony. And above all also respect, very much respect, I personally felt that — respect between man-woman, respect for nature, respect for life in general. This show is simply fantastic.

It was very worth while, really very, very worth while having to get up early today.

Epoch Times: Which piece did you like most?

Helimann: At this moment, all I can say is everything. Everything was compatible with each other, the singing, the arias, the dance pieces; whether Mongolia, whether Tibet, everything matched very well together. Technically the drama is simply brilliant.
