GENEVA—The Divine Performing Arts company performed the Chinese Spectacular at the Theatre du Léman in Geneva on March 3.

After the show, chairman and chief technical officer of the Global Harmony Foundation (GHF), Dr. Naseeb Dajani, and Mrs. Dajani expressed their excitement.

Dr. Dajani said, "This is my first time seeing Chinese performing arts. I feel that the depth of the Chinese culture was fully exhibited. I'd like to tell you how moved I was by the colors, dances, music, and the performers' skills. I especially like the instrument solo [erhu]. It was just marvelous! Also, the song by the tenor had such nice lyrics, very moving. Of course, the drums were very inspiring."

"The dance about the persecution of Falun Gong ['The Power of Awareness'] touched me deeply. China is very gradually opening up. They can't remain closed forever. [The communist regime] is persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in China. This is truly tragic. But now the Communist Party can no longer censor information. With the Internet and many information products, technology is developing very quickly. China must give its people freedom and respect all individuals, be they rich or poor, men or women. They must be respected."

Dr. Dajani added, "After seeing today's show, I wish to learn more about Chinese art and culture. China has a culture of great depth. Many nearby countries have learned from the Chinese culture, including Japan and Korea.

"I think everyone who has participated in this show is extraordinary. They are the true envoys from China. Truly extraordinary! This will bring change and hope to China."
