PARIS—The Chinese Spectacular , on a weekend run at the Palais des Congrès in Paris, impressed showgoers from many walks of life on Saturday.
Rosette Moscovite, a fashion designer, said, "It's wonderful, splendid, and awesome! I saw another [Chinese-themed cultural] show 15 days ago and it wasn't really good ... But this one, from one end to the other, it's a splendor. It's a miracle.
"It is animated, the music is awesome, the costumes are wondrous, you can't say enough about it. Everything! The dancers and everything [else]. It was a splendor. I really liked it a lot—it's harmony, it's just beautiful.
"I wouldn't be able to say what I liked most. Everything was so beautiful. I don't compare the acts, because all of it was good. Really. It's a Spectacular that has enchanted me, that has delighted me. I can't say anything more about it.
She concluded, "I will certainly come back next year to watch the new show, because I love it very much. I will certainly talk to my friend about it when she visits me tomorrow evening—she has missed it. And I will call my brother to tell him that it has been fabulous. It's superb."

Tony Haddad, a CEO in Paris also praised it, saying, "It's beautiful. The music is perfect. It's superb."
Saleswoman Leaksmeyvath Tan called the performance "magnificent."
She said, "Magnificent, really a lot of grace, a lot of gestural beauty, I love it. The drums at end were magnificent." She especially noted loving the Mongolian bowl dance.
Her favorite piece, she said, was "maybe the 'Lady of the Moon' and also the dance of ... truthfulness … the dance of conscience. I loved this also because it really represents today's world. It wakes us up, it helps to wake us up in the world we are now living in."
"I was fascinated by the color of the clothing, the choreography ... I loved that. It wakes one up, it's like spring, it's joyful."
