PARIS—High School Student Ingabire Bibime, originally from the west African country of Burundi and now attending school in Paris, had great praise for the Chinese Spectacular, currently playing at the Palais des Congrès in Paris.

“It’s magnificent! I really find the dancers to be … one can see the great work they have done. And we think that the group dances [perform] very traditionally. I like it very much,” she said.

“Even the music, it’s magnificent, really. We are being transported. It’s like a voyage, we are being transported within. It’s really magnificent.”

While she appreciated every aspect of the Spectacular, Bibime especially liked Drummers of the Tang Court and the Mongolian Bowl Dance.

“The drums, it really talks to me a lot, since also in my country people traditionally use drums. So I specifically liked the drums. And also the dance with the tea cups.

After Paris, the Divine Performing Arts tour will continue on to Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
