PARIS—The Chinese Spectacular at Paris' Palais des Congres, touched many of the audience members with its purity and innocence on opening night, February 29 in Paris.

"I found this amazing, and of an extraordinary freshness. We are not used to this kind of music or dance, nor to this joyfulness," said Ruggero de Pas, a radio correspondent from Suisse Italienne."

He continued "I appreciated certain scenes where we can see extraordinary feats of artistry. Especially the songs but in certain dances we could effectively see the ability, agility and work of the dancers."

"For me, the message was really freshness and naivete. I like that. We can find that in children, and if we can stay as children, that is what's extraordinary."

Ruggero also noticed a theme of familiarity with the sense of mythology and reverence in the Spectacular "That is where it really seemed to be close to our culture-the Greek and Roman gods. It reminded me of my childhood and my studies in mythology."
