LONDON—The manager of a travel company said he has been "pleasantly surprised" by the Shen Yun Chinese Spectacular.

Vishal Patel from London said that his wife bought them both tickets to see Saturday's matinee show.

He said: "I'm very impressed. It's not normally the kind of thing I would go and see, but I've been pleasantly surprised. The dancing is absolutely beautiful."

Sixteen-year-old Joe Wang travelled down from Sheffield in the north of England to London to celebrate Chinese New Year with his family.

To cap the month of celebrations he attended the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular in the capital's Royal Festival Hall.

He said: "Its really good. The dancers have obviously put in a lot of hard work.

"Its great that Chinese culture is being popularised. There is still some time left to celebrate the New Year!"
