LONDON—South Korean violinist Jenny Bae says the "orchestra was fantastic" at the Shen Yun Chinese Spectacular at the Royal Festival Hall on Friday.

She said the crossover between eastern and western music was "incredibly well done".

"And the erhu, the Chinese violin, I will never forget the sound of it. It has got so much - so many emotions in it," she exclaimed.

Miss Bae is an ambassador for Red Cross Asia and works for the Nobel Peace Laureates' Foundation at the United Nations.

She is recording an album, which she hopes will be released soon.

She said many scenes in the Spectacular impressed her.

"When the man came with the drum, and a lot of Mongolian dancers, that was particularly very beautiful for me," she said.

"I am sure everyone will say the same thing - It was incredibly beautiful.

"Even as a Asian person, I thought I have seen it all, and I have done it all, but it was incredibly beautiful, and I am definitely leaving this place with a message in my heart."

When asked what message she joked, "that Chinese are the best."

"Just kidding, no," she continued. "The message is that, at the end of the day, all human being are the same, we have the same value, whether you are from China, from Indonesia, whether you are from America, at the end of the day, we are human beings, enjoys the same thing, and value the same thing in our life."
