NEW YORK—Annette Richardson and Jessica Hough were among the many who enjoyed the Chinese New Year Splendor currently playing at New York's Radio City Music Hall.

"Oh, I thought it was beautiful," said Ms. Richardson, an electrician who attended Saturday's show. "Beautiful colors…awesome! We enjoyed it immensely."

"Very entertaining, wonderful, and relaxing" said Ms. Hough, a college student.

Ms. Hough said that her favorite parts were the drums and the fans. Ms. Richardson leaned toward "Lady of the Moon" as her favorite, adding that she thought the part where the wife in the story went to the moon was "beautiful."

Ms. Richardson was also impressed with the way that the details of the show were explained to the audience. Even though many vocal parts are in Chinese, with the English script she said she was able to follow and understand what was going on.

With so many exciting features, however, they both nevertheless came back to the bright colors as something that made a very positive impression on them.

"The colors really get you," said Ms. Richardson. "Continue on," she said. "It's a beautiful thing …and a Happy New Year!"

The Chinese New Year Splendor continues in New York through Saturday, Feb. 9. For other shows in the Divine Performing Arts world tour, please visit: www.DivinePerformingArts.org .
