NEW YORK—Shing-Wang-Du came to the Divine Performing Arts' show on Friday night and was very touched. She said, "I think it's great. Being away from the homeland [this] is such a high-level performance, I'm very touched. The standard of the performance is at a very high level."
The Chinese New Year Splendor 's purpose is to restore the ancient arts and culture of China and she could see that. She felt the show "represents the divine rhythm."
Most remarkable to her were the drums. "I like the two drum pieces—they're just tremendously powerful. It has a very uplifting spirit. It represents the true spirit of the Chinese people. It's the most valuable spirit."
The Chinese New Year Splendor continues in New York through Saturday, Feb. 9. For other shows in the Divine Performing Arts world tour, please visit: www.DivinePerformingArts.org . The Epoch Times is a proud sponsor of the Chinese New Year Splendor.
