FLUSHING, New York City—Although it has been two and half weeks since the Chinese Consulate incited thugs to attack volunteers of the Quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Service Center in Flushing, the center has already resumed its normal operation. The center and The Epoch Times received many reports from local residents that the Chinese regime could be mobilizing agents from mainland China to create an incident on American soil.

An employee of the Queens Library in Flushing, who wishes to remain anonymous, told The Epoch Times that prior to the attacks on May 17, there were several men in suits who conducted a meeting on the third floor in the library. Some of them were recognized as officials from the Chinese Consulate. The others claimed to be from Beijing. Later they asked the employee about the operation of the center in front of the library.

New Chinese Faces in Flushing

Ms. Qin, a financial consultant and resident of Flushing told a center volunteer, "I notice many new faces recently, they look like they are from mainland China, wandering around in Flushing these days."

She stated, "It is said that they are associated with the [Chinese] Consulate. Some of them are here particularly from China, including the media."

Identifying himself as an illegal immigrant from Fujian, a 30-year-old man told The Epoch Times , "The Chinese Consulate asked our leader a few days ago to attack the Falun Gong, offering a payment of $20 per person. After negotiations, the Consulate agreed to pay $100, but some of us still refused to participate."

The man said that he did not want to get involved in this matter.

"Some of them took the money, but didn't go either. Some went, but just to put on a show during the night. Most of them are doing it for the money. Very few of them would really fight for the communist regime."

Chinese in Flushing 'Not Interested'

This illegal immigrant also disclosed to The Epoch Times that "They could not mobilize very many people here in Flushing, so they mobilized people from the mainland and other places."

The chairman of the China Democracy Party World Union, Mr. Wang Jun, personally witnessed the attack. He said, "Neither the Chinese Communist Party nor those who instigate the violence admit that the CCP is behind all this." However, as a Flushing resident for a long time, Wang said he is quite certain that only a few of the faces are from Flushing. Most of them are from somewhere else. Wang Jun told The Epoch Times that he was attacked one time when he accepted an Epoch Times newspaper from a volunteer. He found out someone behind him was taking his photo with another seven or eight people conversing beside him. At a glance, he knew none of them were from Flushing, but looked like they very possibly were from mainland China.

CCP Public Security Bureau Agents in Flushing

An elderly Epoch Times reader warned a Falun Gong practitioner who was helping distribute Epoch Times newspaper at the subway exit, "Be careful, the Chinese communist regime has sent many secret agents here, including from the National Security Bureau. They have brought the Cultural Revolution here to target you guys."

The elderly man introduced himself as originally from Qingdao City in China and said that he knows people in the Public Security Bureau.
