NEW YORK—In a strange string of incidents, four cars on separate occasions drove onto New York sidewalks this weekend, hitting pedestrians. At least 20 people were injured.

On June 20 alone, three cars plowed onto sidewalks. One incident, involving a Chevy Malibu, took place on Tennis Court. Others took place between 7th Avenue and W 35 Street, and between Madison Avenue and E 125 Street.

The fourth incident took place on June 21 in Flatbush, Brooklyn, on Madison Street, and involved a Jeep.
