GENTING HIGHLANDS, Malaysia—The legendary musical family, the Osmonds, will entertain fans at the Arena of Stars in Genting Highlands on this Saturday at 8pm. The one-night-only show is the last show of their 50th Anniversary World Tour.
Fans will meet the seven siblings of the Osmonds—Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay, Donny, Marie, and Jimmy Osmond—who will perform their greatest hits and relive the fond memories of their yesteryears. The Saturday concert is also the first-ever reunion of all seven siblings.
The American family pop group has achieved enormous worldwide success as teenage music idols in the 1970s. Donny and Jimmy, both achieved success as solo artists. Donny and Marie also performed as a duo, and hosted their own variety show.
"We love touring, and I think this last show will be very emotional for my brothers and me. I think we were raised as an entertainers but not celebrity."
"We feel that our job is to let whoever comes to our show to feel they got their money worth and have a wonderful experience," said Marie Osmond in a press conference held in Genting Highland on June 19.
"We won't just go on stage and sing a bunch of songs. It will be a very entertaining two hours," said Merrill Osmond, the lead singer of the Osmonds.
