FLUSHING, New York City—"Chinese people can not afford to lose this newspaper. All other Chinese media have been bought off by the CCP. Now, only this one truly speaks for the people," Frank Hong told the Epoch Times reporter with a smile, when picking up a Dajiyuan ( Epoch Times Chinese edition) at the Quit the CCP Service Center in Flushing on June 12.

Introducing himself as a former Mainland attorney—he was among the first group that obtained a Chinese national attorney certification in 1986, Frank said he immigrated to the United States ten years ago.

Frank went on, "With the openness of media today, it is very unusual if only one voice can be heard. People have the right to know, but it is a right that people must strive for."

Frank told the reporter that under the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) governance, the Chinese public has suffered enormous psychological damage. Being deceived by the CCP over a long period of time, they are so used to watching the official report for any major event that their thinking and behavior are very different from people in Western democratic countries.

He believes that many Chinese tried every possible means to come to United States, many came to pursue wealth, but more came out of the desire to live in a social system that espouses freedom. They must learn to listen to opposite views of an issue.

"I want to speak up for Falun Gong practitioners. I will tell my friends and relatives, if we tried Li Peng for the Tiananmen Square Massacre, we should try Jiang Zemin for the persecution of Falun Gong."

Frank said, three months after the launch of the persecution of Falun Gong, he started to realize the CCP was once again using the entire State apparatus to persecute a social group. One can see the crime evolving just from the CCP's media propaganda blitz.

Frank commented about the Flushing incident not long ago, "The violent incident is certainly a prepared, organized, and well planned action. For some years, the CCP media and other related Chinese media had stopped reporting Falun Gong news. Why is it that the pro-CCP media, such as the World Daily, overseas Chinese Press, etc., suddenly all started reporting the event?"

"The Quitting the CCP Service Center has been there for four years, no one has ever besieged it, and suddenly several hundred people came to attack and shout at them, doesn't it explain everything?"
