HUNTSVILLE, Alabama—The Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular played its final U.S. show at Huntsville's Von Braun Concert Hall on Tuesday evening.

Among the delighted audience members was Jane Zielinski, who said she attends a lot of shows because her son is a director in theatre. However, she found the Spectacular "unique."

"The costumes were beautiful, just gorgeous, and I liked the opening scene. The water fall type thing [ Nymphs of the Sea ] — that is beautiful, and I liked the choreography"

Zielinski added that she enjoyed "the drum bursts" in Victory Drums and Drummers of the Tang Court.

She said that her son wanted to come to the show but he "could not get out of directing this play in Los Angeles. He'll ask me first thing in the morning how I liked it."

"I just thought it was a nice evening out," said Zielinski.
