EDMONTON, Canada—The Heathers came to enjoy the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular in Edmonton.

Ed Heather, who teaches aircraft construction in Edmonton, thought it was very beautiful and highly skilled: “The Nymph one with all the [fans], you know how they made the waterfall and the lapping of the waves—pretty impressive [‘Nymphs of the Sea’]. It’s amazing how simple it is and how they can make it look like you’re right there Very little props, just very impressive.

“They made you feel like you were right there. I don’t know how it made you feel. It was amazing.”

Mrs Heather said, “I was amazed at how well they can coordinate everything together. The unison of it was incredible— I loved it.”

She added: “It’s, very delicate. This is actually the first seeing something like this, but you can almost see how China has evolved with the stories.

“I liked that ‘Mongolian Bowl Dance’. They turn fairly quickly, that’s what I thought. I thoughtL ‘how can they turn like that and still maintain their balance?’”

Mr Heather said that they must have had “severe concentration” and thought to himself “holy smokes I’m impressed!”
