CALGARY, Alberta—"Very beautiful… the dances are very well choreographed. I thought the drumming was really cool, I really like the drumming," said Matt Home, manager for Bell Mobility after taking in Friday evening's sold out performance of the Chinese Spectacular .

"My favorite was the drumming. The music is good. I'd like to hear more Chinese instruments."

"The ['Victory Drums'] were really cool. It was really neat to see that many performers performing at the same time, so I really liked the drumming."

Home said that he saw Taiko drumming when he visited Japan and thus found the Chinese style of drumming in the Spectacular interesting.

He also enjoyed the dancing pieces, noting that the dancers expressed their emotions well and seemed very happy.

"Ballet is more about putting on a show. I thought Chinese dancing was more intricate and more about the movements, so it was a lot more beautiful than ballet."

"Lots of emotion; the dancers were very happy and a lot of them involved acting which was very cool," he said.
