CALGARY—"From the fans to the opening and closing of the flowers, the timing was perfect. I've seen other [shows] before and for the number of people they had on stage it was very synchronized and everything was just perfect."

Mr Aharon Ikar was extremely impressed with the Chinese Spectacular's choreography, specifically the harmony and skill the dancers were capable of after seeing Friday's sold-out performance of Chinese Spectacular at Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.

"The agility and at the same time the control ... the movement of standing on one foot for over a minute, was really, really well done. The movements and the music are very soothing. I know there were different parts, some strong and other soft. The mixture was very well done. Very colorful; I really enjoyed it."

Mr Ikar, who works in sales for Jeld Wen Windows and Doors remarked that this was his first time seeing a show based on Chinese culture.

"I've seen other ethnic backgrounds and [Chinese culture] is unique to itself. I like the history and the blend between [current events] and the old seems to be really blended and well done," he said.

"Seeing lots of Chinese people here, I think they appreciated that everything was in their language as well. As for me not speaking [Chinese] didn't bother me, actually It was nice."

"This is the first time I came to see it. A friend recommended it and I really liked it, it's really nice," he said.

Mr Ikar said that he is definitely planning on seeing the show when it returns to Calgary next year. However, he said he would be the one to invite a friend this time.
