NEW YORK—On Monday morning, a Chinese mob continued to threaten Falun Gong practitioners as they have been doing over the last eight days. A group of them threatened to kill Epoch Times reporters and photographers who were at the scene reporting on the events.
The protests have been linked to Zhou Yongkang, the Secretary of the Chinese Communist Political and Judiciary Committee, and involve the top diplomat at the Chinese Consulate in New York City, Consul General Keyu Peng.
Mob numbers were estimated to be around 600 people, spread out through different areas in Flushing throughout the day on Monday.
