Baby Bones Found in Box

The Epoch Times
May 13, 2008

The skeletal remains of two babies have been found in a cardboard box.

The bones are believed to have been found in the house of an elderly woman who recently passed away in the Audenshaw area, Greater Manchester.

Police were called to the address on Thursday night and were said to have stayed there for a considerable amount of time.

The bones are believed to have been discovered by a relative of the deceased woman.

A post-mortem examination will be held to examine the cause of death.

It is not known how long the remains have been there for. DNA tests will be carried out to determine the age of the children at the time of death and provide clues to the identity of the children.

No arrests have been made at present.

Investigators will look into whether the deceased resident of the 1960s council house on Rowcon Close, was the mother of the children.
