Cycling—Australian McEwen Wins Tour of Romandie Second Stage

FRIBOURG, Switzerland—Australian Robbie McEwen of Silence Lotto won the second stage of the Tour of Romandie on Thursday, a 172.1-km ride from Moutier to Fribourg.

Italian Daniele Bennati of the Liquigas team took second place and Dane Matti Breschel was third for CSC.

Switzerland's Michael Albasini of Liquigas retained the overall leader's yellow jersey.
