BRISBANE, Australia—Architect Tony Jamerson and his wife enjoyed the final Brisbane performance of the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular at the Brisbane Convention Centre on April 8, 2008.

When Mr Jamerson and his wife saw the Spectacular advertised in the newspaper, they were attracted to attend as she is Vietnamese. Mrs Jamerson said: "It's what I expected and it was very nice...the storyline.

Being Vietnamese, she had a similar cultural background. "Yes, we have a similar history and also similar dances," said Mrs Jamerson.

When asked about what messages she saw in the performance, Mrs Jamerson replied: "Yes, it's [the messages of] life and loyalty.

"I would say if you are a cultural person, go and see it to get some cultural background."

Mr Jamerson said of the performance: "It's Fantastic!"

When asked what impressed him the most, Mr Jamerson responded: "[It's] hard to say. I just enjoy the music, the singing was beautiful, it's a different expression of the art — really, very good. We love all different cultures and it's such an old culture — I think we can learn a lot from that."
