BRISBANE, Australia—'The show was very good' commented Joy, a retiree who attended the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular at the Brisbane Convention Centre on April 8, 2008.
"I heard about the Spectacular from a neighbour who gave me a ticket."
Joy especially enjoyed the dancing. She said she would recommend the show to her family and friends, and would come to see the show again.
Another retired lady, Gwenn, also received a ticket as a gift from a friend. She commented on the colourful costumes and wonderful performances. "The show was very good; the performance and costumes were excellent."
She said: "[I] would definitely recommend the Spectacular to family and friends, and I would come again."
Another retiree also named Gwenn was given a ticket by her daughter as a gift. "I enjoyed the show immensely. I enjoyed the backdrops, dancing and music; it was all very good."
Emma, a sales assistant, saw the Chinese Spectacular advertised in the newspaper. She really enjoyed the show, saying it was "lovely". She added that she would recommend it to family and friends.
