BRISBANE, Australia─Retired serviceman Noel Kelly attended the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular with his Malaysian wife at the Brisbane Convention Centre on April 8. He said his favourite performance was 'Nymphs of the Sea', where the ladies waved their blue fans.

The dance tells the legend of sea deities who appear only before those who are pure in heart. Their playful formations soothe the soul and the dance illuminates the seashore with a heavenly grace.

"They're very good artists, they've spent a lot of time practising and training. I think it's a very good show," said Mr Kelly.

"I've seen 'My Fair Lady', 'Buddy Holly', quite a few of them…The most recent one I seen was 'Miss Saigon'. I think this [Chinese Spectacular] was much better — leaves it for dead."

When asked what he would tell his friends about the Spectacular, Mr Kelly said: "Fantastic; don't miss it!"
