BRISBANE, Australia—"Absolutely beautiful," Marion Greenbury, a teacher's aide, said after watching the Chinese Spectacular in Brisbane on Tuesday April 8. "An insight into the culture.
"My daughter's married to someone who's part Chinese, so I wanted a bit more insight into their culture and what's happening over there.
"I've looked into the Chinese culture…and I don't think it's truly exposed enough."
Marion's favourite performance was 'Nymphs of the Sea'. "That sent shivers up my spine very much so.
"Actually, I was in Adelaide and there was a girl in costume promoting the show, so that's how I got to know about the show and I grabbed it because I just thought she was just beautiful. And I said: 'I'm not here for very long; we go back to Brisbane.' And she said: 'Oh no, there's a show in Brisbane.' So that's how I found out about it. I would say it's fate."
"I enjoyed every minute of it," Marion's mum Faith said. "Each dance was unique in its own way and I just love the movements and the way they're so graceful when they do the movements," she said.
