BRISBANE, Australia—"Very Chinese-y!" said Ken Wilson, about the Chinese Spectacular on opening night at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Mr Wilson, who is a business owner, was invited by his friends to attend the show. "I am glad that I was invited; I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very entertaining," he said.
"I thought it was very elegant, graceful, which is refreshing," said Mr Wilson as he described his experience of seeing the Chinese Spectacular.
"Like most traditional cultures, it has a deep sense of a spirituality which permeated the whole performance tonight," he continued.
Mr Wilson was surprised at the 3-dimensional digital backdrops used throughout the performance: "I thought the backdrops and the way they had the animations, it really brought out the performances, something that I've never seen before. A truly professional show, I thought."
