SYDNEY, Australia—"The show was lovely. [It was] one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Puts out a strong message, which I'm glad our country allows you to do," said Dona Callaway after watching the Chinese Spectacular on the final night in Sydney.

The Spectacular combined a unique programme of ancient myths and legends, with some acts set in contemporary China.

"I think there is a strong message – to be allowed to go and lead your life, believe without anyone harming you for believing what you believe and saying what you want," said Mrs Callaway, highlighting the Australian values of "fair go" and tolerance. "Falun Dafa are very oppressed people and sometimes I was happy and sometimes I was sad. I cried," shared Mrs Callaway about her experience of watching the show and voiced support for all people suffering in China.

"Because they are such beautiful, loving people and should not be treated like they are being treated and I'm glad our country allows these people to have a safe home and to be able to speak their voice and have freedom of speech without being worried."

Mrs Collaway regards herself as a "true blue Aussie". She is proud of the fact that Australia "gives other people who are not from such fortunate countries, a safe place" and expressed appreciation that the Spectacular brought a taste of traditional Chinese culture right to the doorstep.

"We don't have such culture in this country. We get to see everyone's culture without even having to leave the safety of our country."

She said the performances were "absolutely stunning, very graceful and elegant. One of the most beautiful and colourful things I've ever seen. I don't think I'll ever see anything like this again, unless I come back next year".
