SYDNEY, Australia—Toni Jameson was impressed by the dances at the Chinese Spectacular on Saturday evening.
She was at the show with her parents Vince and Esther and thought the show was educating people about Chinese culture. Ms Jameson's parents are Maltese and she was born in Malta.
"So I appreciate European culture and it's wonderful to see other cultures too and how they express themselves. I love it. I think it's a good idea. I think it's a very good idea..."
Ms Jamison said she works at a school in the finance industry and also volunteers at a centre where they play musical instruments and sing.
She said the dance was beautiful. "Yes it was — very beautiful. The costumes, the whole thing — it was just beautiful."
Her father Vince agreed: "Impressed about it—beautiful" Ms Jameson said she particularly enjoyed 'Nymphs of the Sea'.
"The water dance, that took my breath away – yeah, that was good. And that very first dance...everything lifted out of nowhere ['Descent of the Celestial Kings']— yeah, that was beautiful," she said.
Father and daughter both enjoyed 'Forsythias in Spring' and the final performance—'Victory Drums'.
"Yes, that's beautiful—that's beautiful," Ms Jameson said.
Her mother Esther agreed: "I like it—very nice. I really liked the colours, dresses—beautiful."
