SYDNEY, Australia—Divine Performing Arts derives its artistic style from classical Chinese dance and its performances display unique grace. It is the cultural substances behind it all that imbues a dancer's movements with rich expressive power.

Professor Tracy Taylor Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning University of Technology Faculty of Business) was one of many Sydneysiders that attended the last performance by the Divine Performing Arts at the Entertainment Centre.

She said: "The show was very, very spectacular the colour and the movement is fantastic and I think the Mongolian bowl dancing [Mongolian Bowl Dance] is my favourite—keeping the bowl on their heads, the colour and costumes are very great."

During a traditional Mongolian feast, the climax comes when host and guests alike dance with bowls ever so carefully balanced atop of their heads.

When asked how she would introduce the show to others Professor Taylor replied, "I will say that there are a lot of things here, dance, and song that gives you a sense of the traditional Chinese histories and that they are very well played out."
