SYDNEY, Australia—The choreographer and director of the All Stars Performing Arts in Sydney, Nyree Alexander, said seeing the Chinese Spectacular made her want to get into the studio to start choreographing.

She was interviewed at the intermission of the Saturday evening show and said she thought the show was beautiful.

"It is a visual feast; the use of props and lighting is very inspiring. Very, very gorgeous," she said.

"I really like the Mongolian tea dance ['Mongolian Bowl Dance']; I thought it was just magnificent. Not only the costuming, but the technique of it. There is nothing like that in classical ballet. This dance is just a completely different form," she said.

She said she was "very much enjoying the music".

"And I am feeling like getting back into the studio and choreographing something like this. I don't know how I can recreate it, but I will surely try," she quipped.

She said she has been learning about Chinese culture for many years.

"It is something I am really interested in, so coming to something like this has been good. It has sort of built my love of it again. It is just nice it makes me want to travel too," she said.
