SYDNEY, Australia—Louisa is an 11-year old, who heard about the Chinese Spectacular from a flyer she received in Chatswood, Sydney. Impressed, she decided that she wanted to see the show at the Sydney Entertainment Center.
Louisa spoke about her favourite part of the show, "Water Sleeves": "It has a lot of movement and some of those moves are not that easy, and that is the reason I like it," she said.
The "costumes, the music and the songs" all interested her. She read the words of the song, but although she couldn't remember what they were, she said they "impressed" her.

Marianne has a creative background with experience in drumming and acting, but was previously unfamiliar with Chinese culture. "I don't know about the history of China or anything." Although she said she didn't really understand the Chinese soprano and tenor singing, she said: "The singing was nice to listen to."
As to what really moved her, Marianne described the performance 'The Risen Lotus Flower'. She said: "The lady that was persecuted ... and then her soul left and found peace. That was really nice the way she did that ...[it] really moved me."
Marianne found strength in the dancer's portrayal of the character and said: "What moved me was the risk she took and the power of the woman."
