VANCOUVER—" Beautiful, I loved it. Really, really nice."

This is how Dawn-Madonna Rozario, a ballet dancer and college student, described the Chinese Spectacular which is currently playing at the Bell Performing Arts Centre in Surrey.

"The technique and the choreography are just amazing. It's through the roof. I love it—makes me want to do it," said Dawn-Madonna.

Andrea, Dawn-Madonna's mother, was also impressed by the Spectacular.

"I came with her because she is a ballerina and dances. We appreciate the arts so we wanted to see the show and it advertised so much and it has lived up to its expectations, I have to say that."

Dawn-Madonna said there's "a little more freedom" in Chinese classical dance compared to ballet and praised the agility of the dancers.

"The balance and flexibility is amazing. I feel so amateur."

Andrea commented on the "very pretty" costumes and the state-of-the-art digital backdrops.

"Beautiful and attractive, fit for the stage and I have to say the backdrops were really, something very different. We watched many shows before but this was really nice, very different. I know the effects were the main thing."

"The computer work was awesome," said Andrea. "Well done. Worth the price."

"It was worth it, definitely worth it to see it, and I can't wait for next year," said Dawn-Madonna.
