SEATTLE—Divine Performing Arts of New York had its first Chinese Spectacular performance at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle on the evening of April 23.
Mr. Li wore traditional Chinese attire to attend the show with his family. He said, "The show is excellent, you cannot see this in the mainland."
"The whole performance is perfect—the costumes and the lighting match perfectly; the stage design is beautiful; the artists are very professional. The traditional music and the Tang Dynasty style drums are very moving," he said.
"I love Chinese culture very much. The Divine Performing Arts performance represents the Chinese culture. I feel very happy to watch these dances." Li added, "All five members of my family praise the performance. We also brought two American friends. We translated for them, and they like the show very much also."
Li is grateful for the efforts of the Divine Performing Arts in promoting and recovering traditional Chinese culture. He said he will definitely come back to see the show next year.
