VANCOUVER—Divine Performing Arts returned to Canada to perform it's renowned Chinese Spectacular at the Bell Canada Centre Friday evening. Among the audience were Chinese-Canadian realtor Susan Gobel and her husband Sean, a computer consultant.
"It's not just about dance, it's a little bit of a combination of dance and history. Not just dance but also acrobatics," said Susan
"This is very special. They really have skills. It isn't just dance - it's amazing."
Orvel MacDonald, a salesman from Surrey, had high praise for the show as well.
"It's great, just great," she said. "The music is so melodic. The dancing is fantastic, we really enjoyed watching it. And just seeing the colours, the faces, and the movements of the hands which we're not used to in Western culture, it was a very unique experience, very enjoyable."
When asked if he would recommend the show to his clients, he said,"Oh definitely!"
Vancouver based software salesman Phil Wenslon remarked that the show "Has been amazing."

"This [ Spectacular ] is a very, very, high level culture and I think it was high level Buddhist philosophy. It's very, very high level, and a nice world we can [experience]!"
