SEATTLE—The Chinese Spectacular impressed the audience in Seattle with its beautiful costumes and stunning displays of traditional Chinese culture and history on Wednesday.
Richard and Rochelle Bersin said they did not know much about Chinese history before the show.
"I haven't really studied Chinese history. But I think China is growing so much as a nation right now. It's good to know what their cultural history is and this helps to do it. Mainly, it's just a really good watch," Mr Bersin said.
He said the costumes were beautiful and the dancers were spectacular.
"They are so fluid as to what they are doing out there. I am interested by the cultural, learning things about it, the cultural history by watching this. That's good too but it's visually, it's beautiful," he said.
"I don't mind sitting there. I could watch it all day," he laughed. His wife added, "When are they coming back?"
Jessica Del Rosario, a college student at the Evergreen State College, said the scenes with the Falun Gong practitioners were the most touching.

"It was really hard not to get emotional over that. I have researched it and I've seen pictures but it was different from seeing it depicted that way. That really stuck with me the most," she said.
When asked about Chinese Culture she replied, "they expressed it really beautifully and it's really hard to see that in present day culture."
