SEATTLE—The city of Seattle was presented with the first of two showings of the Chinese Spectacular at the Paramount Theatre on Wednesday evening. Bruce Greene, a retired electrical engineer, enjoyed his evening watching the performance with his wife.
Greene said, "I thought it was wonderful: I loved the costumes, I loved the singing, the dancing, the drumming. The ladies were very delicate, enthusiastic, beautiful."
His wife, Kathleen Kicullen, an attorney, was enthusiastic too. "I loved it. It was great fun. I enjoyed it. I loved the message too, of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance and the Falun Gong parts."
Mr. Greene added, "We enjoyed the show and appreciated the message. I would say it was more geared toward American audiences."
When asked about his overall impression of the show he responded, "Oh, yeah, wonderful. We loved it."
