AUCKLAND, New Zealand—Drago Ristik, a retired navy captain, was among the audience members attending the Chinese Spectacular on Friday April 18.

Mr Ristik, a graduate from Macedonia University and a member of the American Health Institute, explained that he had studied Chinese traditional medicine and could speak more than 16 languages. "On the ship, I read more than 3000 books...many years ago," he said. "Every nation has his own dances and songs, so Chinese also have this traditional dancing and songs, etc ... I like ethnic dancing and ethnic songs."

Mr Ristik was not new to the Chinese culture. "I was ... in China, Beijing. I saw opera in Beijing and in Shanghai ... similar performance, but this is better! ... When I saw some performances this time, I was feeling better compared to that which I saw eight years ago, nine years and six years ago in China. It was very good, this," he explained.

Mr Ristik said that he especially liked the 'Mongolian Bowl Dance' and Pi-ju Huang, the soprano singer. "Yeah. And everything is great!"
