AUCKLAND,New Zealand—Over the past few days, the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular has entertained thousands of audience members at Auckland's ASB Theatre in Aotea Square. On the final night, Saturday April 19, the group performed the finale to a packed theatre.
It was a stirring performance, bringing some people to tears and arousing loud applause. People came from around the country to attend Divine Performing Arts' final New Zealand appearance of 2008, travelling from as far afield as Invercargill and Christchurch.
While artistic experts such as dance instructors, musicians and people involved in the film industry expressed how impressed they were by the Spectacular , it proved to be a performance that all could truly enjoy.
Overwhelming audience feedback obtained by The Epoch Times revealed people had been deeply moved by the show during it's time in New Zealand. Some cried. Some felt goose bumps. Almost all exclaimed how great it was to have witnessed the performance.

Dance teacher, Henry Kimble - "The dancing was beautiful, very beautiful. The power and the strength . The choreography, it flows very nicely with the music. I would recommend this show to anyone. There's talent, lots of talent."
Film industry expert, Steve Cook - "It's spectacular the way they all come together, you know, which is very hard to do. I know. You could spend weeks and weeks just getting one thing right."
Percy Allison from the Poverty Action Coalition - "I am just absolutely blown away."
Student of music and opera, Gorica Stojadinovic - I have never seen something so professionally done. [Soprano Pi-ju Huang] … had such a beautiful voice."
Student Cat Cowl - "I almost cried. I was just in awe." Other significant feedback included a financial consultant expressing that she is interested in learning more about Falun Gong after seeing the Spectacular .
During the finale, the group received enthusiastic applause at the curtain call, with the curtain being raised twice for the performers to acknowledge the continuous applause.
Divine Performing Arts has two companies touring the world, the second, which also performed their final overseas tour on April 19 in Munich, Germany. They now return to North America where they will tour USA and Canada, finally finishing on May 6 after 220 performances in 67 cities.
