AUCKLAND, New Zealand—Auckland ballet teacher Valerie Murray enjoyed the final performance of the Chinese Spectacular on Saturday night.
She said she did not know anything about Chinese culture before seeing the show. "I am really enjoying it. It is really very, very good," she said at the intermission.
"There is beautiful artistry, musicality and movement, just beautiful. I think it is very clever," she said.
Valerie said she would describe the show as something "very spectacular".
"And the colour and everything, brilliant. I love the way they have the Chinese and English in the background during the singing. It is quite eye opening, it seems so deep. There is such depth to the culture.
She said the openness of the dancers is beautiful. "I think everyone should go and see it," she said.
