"It was nothing but brilliant. It was a spectacular performance of discipline and grace, the colour was brilliant beyond the rainbow," said Mr Hawke.
Mrs Hawke liked the way the show brought their message to the world.
"I thought it was fantastic. What I liked about it was the way that the people portrayed the changes that they feel needed to be made in their society. They are prepared to stand up for it," said Mrs Hawke.
"As young people they are able to portray it in a way that it's non-threatening and that everybody can embrace it without fearing they are going to be intimidated in any way."
The show is traveling the world restoring 5000 years of Chinese culture and the couple said the message was beautiful.
Mr Hawke said, "I thought it was really spectacular the movement the vibrancy, the passion that the people showed with their movement and their poise. I recommend the show to be one of the best I have seen for a long time." "The message itself I thought was beautiful. I actually thoroughly enjoyed it. Fabulous!! I've learnt that they have got tenacity, they never give up and they keep going. I loved it. Yes, Yes. They are prepared to stand up for it," said Mrs Hawke.
