AUCKLAND, New Zealand—"Silver detail" is how an Auckland woman described the Chinese Spectacular. Sally Jacobson, an accountant, went to the second New Zealand show with her husband David, who found out about the show after picking up a copy of The Epoch Times.
"It was something different," he said. "I think we both really liked the Mongolian Tea [Bowl] Dance."
The dance portrays a traditional Mongolian feast, where hosts and guests dance with bowls carefully balanced on top of their heads.
Jacobson said the costumes displayed during the performance were interesting. "[The] caps and the costumes were fantastic, with the silver detail," she said.
When asked what she would tell her friends about the show, she said that they would be in for an "unforgettable evening".
The Chinese Spectacular is a world-class stage performance that brings traditional Chinese culture and arts to life. Performed by the Divine Performing Arts group, the show is expected to be held in over 20 countries.
