AUCKLAND, New Zealand— Musician Manu Faira was impressed by the premier of the Chinese Spectacular at Auckland's ASB Theatre on Thursday.

The Falun Dafa Association of New Zealand invited Mr Faira to the show. He has been training the brass section of the Falun Gong Divine Land Band.

"It was really colourful, the background, and how they selected the costumes with the background.

"It was really, really stunning."

He was at the show with his wife Laisa and they both said the show was "really, really good" at the intermission. Mr Faira said he was impressed by the "Tang Drums" ['Drums of the Tang Court'], the final performance before the intermission.

"It is quite fantastic, really good aye," he said. He said he would take some of the ideas from the show back to the youth leaders at his church.

The Chinese Spectacular continues in Auckland through to Saturday.
