MILAN, Italy—Divine Performing Arts made their way to Milan to proudly showcase their internationally renowned Chinese Spectacular Tuesday evening at the Alliance Theatre.
Lorenzo Roveri, a local entrepreneur had this to say about the show: "I've seen that the show aims to teach people goodness and proper values. At the same time it is critical of the [Chinese] communist regime, which has tried to destroy culture and those kinds of values."
"The show is perfect. In regards to the performance, they performed perfectly in absolute harmony."
"Without any doubt it is a show that has a precise meaning. On the one hand it is critical of the communist regime, and on the other it emphasizes the best values."
He continued to describe why he felt this was quite a positive attribute for the show to possess, "In this world that follows degenerated, ignoble and materialistic values, it is a positive thing and worthy of praise."
"But obviously there is anti-communist [material], and that's right thing to do!"
"Nowadays Chinese people recognize their past. After a dark period for their culture they are looking for a renaissance which is more than justified," he concluded.
