ADELAIDE, Australia—Retired Minister, John Ridley, attended the Tuesday evening session of the Chinese Spectacular at the Adelaide Festival Centre Theatre.

During the interval, Mr Ridley briefly shared his feelings about the performances so far, and which of the ten most appealed to him.

"I'm very impressed with the show. It's Spectacular, and very excellent, syncronised dancing and beautiful traditional dresses, and it's very interesting to see ancient culture."

Mr Ridley has been to Hong Kong, but said he had never seen a show like this, "I am glad that I have been able to see this one"

"The drumming, as a man, grabbed me." He said about the performance 'Drummers of the Tang Court'

After learning for the first time about Falun Gong, and the treatment of Falun Gong practitioners in China today through the performance 'The Risen Lotus Flower' Mr Ridley expressed interest in it and wanted to find out more about it. "I'm interested in the Falun Gong", he said.

Mr Ridley took his teenage grandson along with him, who said he had no expectations before watching the show, but was really enjoying it, and the drums were also a favourite with him.
