ADELAIDE, Australia—Sandra and Peter Russo and Wendy McMahon went with a group to see the Spectacular in Adelaide on April 15.
They all loved it and felt very connected with the content.
"It's just fabulous. Yes, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I think the costumes, the timing and the dancing is really beautiful," said Sandra.
Wendy was also taken with the show.
"Wonderful, wonderful," she said, "The colours and the movement and the girls: All of them are beautiful." Both Wendy and Sandra work together at the Adelaide Training College of Complementary Medicine.
They said they were familiar with Chinese culture from their work in the centre.
'We teach traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture at our college and one of the big things that we do with it is the philosophy".
This, they said, gave them a deeper incite into much of the content in the show, including the scenes representing Falun Gong.
"I mean I'm already kind of familiar with it [Chinese culture] but it's good to see the places and dances they've put to it. That's one of the things I was actually looking forward to. To see how they would actually do it.
"Culturally it's very good and it's showing things that perhaps people haven't realized or haven't thought about, so I think it's good," said Sandra.
Sandra's husband Robert said Sandra had said everything he wanted to say.
"What she said - all of that!"
