ADELAIDE, Australia—Dorothy was one of many thrilled audience members at the Chinese Spectacular 's final Australian performance in Adelaide, before it heads off to New Zealand, drawing nearer to the end of its world tour.
Dorothy was happy to stay around after the show to have a chat to The Epoch Times about her experience.
"I feel excited. It was a very exciting and beautiful show."
"I liked the gracefulness of the dancing and the agility of the men in particular, and the message that they had going through it which was good too… the message going through it is very worthwhile and good.
Dorothy liked all 20 performances in the show, but recalled she was well impressed by the second performance 'Nymphs of the Sea'. "Oh, hard to pick a favorite, I think the most gasping sort of thing was when we opened up and they had those sort of waves going. That was really impressive, yes. I mean everything was really, but that sort of hit when the curtain went up."
The show, which incorporates a lot of classical Chinese dance, was quite a new experience for Dorothy, never having seen a show portraying traditional Chinese culture before. "I've seen lots of ballet and that sort of thing, but this is quite different in many ways."
Dorothy revealed that the show impressed in her what she felt she knew before about China and the original culture of its people. "[It] emphasized what I already knew, I would say. That is their truth, the Buddhism and so on."
