ADELAIDE, Australia—Tim Bell, a high school teacher, and Adrian Terrell, a university English teacher, were among the audience in Adelaide on Tuesday night on April 15.
When asked what he thought, the first thing Tim said was,
"Fantastic, uplifting," and he thought for a moment, then said: "What else can I say? Very colourful costumes; awe inspiring." He said his favourite performance was the 'Mongolian Bowl Dance,' and his friend, Adrian's, was the drummers at the end, "[they] were also very spectacular."
Tim continued his train of thought: "Fantastic; extraordinary — Also the moon sequence ['Lady of the Moon']. But the costumes are just fantastic."
Adrian again agreed: "The beauty of it, extraordinary, the way they worked with precision.
"Being a school teacher I taught Asian culture, and all the Dynasties and from the artistic point of view, the Chinese arts."
He recommended the show to "Those that appreciate culture, people of all ages."
"I was enjoying the Chinese moral stories. I have a lot of Chinese students in my classes. I teach in Thailand, so I have a lot of students from China at my university.
"We are very lucky to have this sort of performance in Adelaide."
