ADELAIDE, Australia—Export consultant Robert Morris has travelled to China many times and seen many shows there, but he described the Chinese Spectacular as "very, very different from what I saw when I was in China."
"It was really fantastic," said Robert, who explained that he mainly does business in education and trade with China.
"I enjoyed this cultural experience ... I have never seen anything like this in China. The shows there are only modern dancing, modern singing, not so traditional."
"I like the singing, the lady who has a beautiful voice. I also like the baritone and the tenor, excellent. Their voice is very, very rich, very powerful. I enjoyed it."
"It was perfect all the way through," he said, summing up the evening.
Robert's partner, Wang Suxin, is originally from mainland China and has been living in Australia more than two years. Her favourite dance was 'The Lady of the Moon'.
"I like that dance very much," she said. "I think that in Adelaide we can see such a fantastic show, and see so many Australians enjoy so much about our Chinese culture. I, as a Chinese, feel very proud."
